Executive director
Violin teacher
Hi there! I'd like to take up this space of internet to tell you a bit about me. I began my violin journey at the age of four when I had a profound conversation with my parents. It went something like this: Them: "Do you want to play the violin?" Me: "Sure!" We had no idea where any of it would lead.
Thankfully, I eventually fell in love with the instrument and pursued a Bachelor's of Music degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, studying under the tutelage of John McGrosso and David Gillham, graduating in 2009.
Fast forward a few years. In May of 2017, I graduated with a Master's of Music in Violin Performance with an emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy (try saying that five times fast).
For many years, my dream was to provide violin lessons to every student that wanted them, not only for those that could afford them. Suzuki Harmony STL is the realization of that dream and I could not be more excited to see where this journey takes us. When I am not teaching, I can be found hiking with my husband and two sons or reading a book in a coffee shop (or at least dreaming about doing so). Thanks for taking your time to learn about me and Suzuki Harmony STL!
